Kitchen curtain.

The door in my kitchen is, well, annoying.  Paint doesn’t like to stick to it and it has this window that let’s everyone stare inside.

I don’t like it.

It bugs me.

It’s also a Southern facing window, which would be awesome…

if I didn’t already have three huge windows in my kitchen already.

So in the summer…

my kitchen swelters…

and in the winter…

it’s freezing (poor heat placement).

So, my solution.

A curtain.

It took me about two hours (cause I ironed my seams all nice and purtey) to make this up and about 15 minutes for my Oak Tree to get it hung up.

There, now isn’t that better? I think so.

You did a beautiful job! I hate the ironing part too, but your photo reminded me about the great pay-off 🙂
